Skirt Changes are as follows (12M, 18-24M, 2T-3T, 4-5, 6&6x) Please note that on both the poncho and skirt more stitches and rows can easily be added or taken away for a better fit.
12M-3T ch 102 for up to 19” waist if waist is larger then do larger size for waist but do smaller in length. 4-6X chain 132 for up to 24” waist if waist is larger then add more ch in multiples of 3
Rnd 1 slst to form a ring making sure not to twist, ch 3 dc in each ch around, slst to top of ch 3 Rnds (2-14, 1-16, 2-19, 2-21, 2-24) Ch 3 dc in each dc around slst to top
Here is where you may do more or less rnds if desired (just a note the 3 white shell rnds are about 2”)
Change to white
Rnd 1 ch 3 dc in same st, ch 2, 2 dc in same st, sk 2 dc, (work shell of *2dc, ch 2, 2dc* in next st, sk 2dc) repeat around slst to top Rnds 2-3 slst to next ch 2 space, sc 3 dc in same space, ch 2 2 dc in same space ( in next space work shell) repeat around, slst to top Finish off, sew in ends
Elastic waist Cut a piece of elastic the same length as around the child’s waist, over lap the 2 ends ½ to ¾ inch and sew securely together
Now working in the free loops of ch sts at waist, hold the elastic right over the ch, insert hook in ch (will be under elastic) pull through a loop, now with hook over elastic, yo and pull through 2 loops on hook (you just did a sc over the elastic) now sc in each st around OVER the elastic, so that the elastic will be incased inside the sc sts.
Finish off sewin ends

(12-24M ch 50, 2T-3T ch 60, 4-5 ch 70, 6&6X ch 80 ( please note that in these rows it may not end up ending perfectly, you may end up with to many or too few sts after the last increase but that is ok) Slst to first ch to form a ring making sure to not twist
Rnd 1- ch 3 dc in next 3 ch, 2dc in next (dc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in next) repeat around slst to top Rnd-2 ch 3 dc in next 4 sts, 2dc in next (dc in next 5 sts, 2 dc in next) repeat around slst to top Rnd-3 ch 3 dc in next 5 sts, 2dc in next (dc in next 6 sts, 2 dc in next) repeat around slst to top 12M-24M skip to rnd 7 Rnd- 4 ch 3 dc in next 6 sts, 2dc in next (dc in next 7 sts, 2 dc in next) repeat around slst to top 2T-4T skip to rnd 7 Rnd- 5 ch 3 dc in next 7 sts, 2dc in next (dc in next 8 sts, 2 dc in next) repeat around slst to top Rnd- 6 ch 3 dc in next 8 sts, 2dc in next (dc in next 9 sts, 2 dc in next) repeat around slst to top Rnd 7- ch 3 dc in next 14 sts, 2dc in next ( dc in next 15 sts, 2dc in next) repeat around slst to top. (In this row you may count the sts to make sure it is a multiple of 3 if not you may increase or decrease here) Rnd 8-10 ch 3 dc in each dc around, slst to top Do not finish off pink, change to white Rnd 9 ch 3 dc in each dc around Finish off white, change to pink Rnds-10-12 ch 3 dc in each dc around (for sizes 12-24M skip to shell rnds) Rnd 13 repeat rnd 9 Rnds 14-16 dc in each dc around slst to top (for sizes 2T-3T skip to shell rnds, for sizes 4-5 do 2 more rnds dc then skip to shell rnds) Rnd 17 repeat rnd 9 Rnds 18-21 ch 3 dc in each dc around slst to top
Here you may increase of decrease the number of rnds to get the fit you want Shell rounds do the same as shell on skirt (here you may also add more rows of shell if desired)
Finish off sew in all ends
